Environmental Studies and Environmental Science Scholarship

The Environmental Studies and Environmental Science Scholarship is intended to encourage and reward students for their academic efforts, as well as activities outside of the classroom aimed at improving the quality of the local, and global environment. Although the scholarships should not be limited to students of a particular major, priority would be given to students majoring in environmental studies or environmental science. Student must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and have completed at least 9 units at LPC.

Applicants must provide a letter of recommendation from an LPC faculty and a supplemental essay to include a 250 words maximum addressing the following:
- What experience has motivated you to Environmental Science/Environmental studies
- How does this experience relate to contemporary issues in environmental sustainability
- List of volunteer or professional activities and/or participation in campus or community groups addressing the improvement of local or global environment.
