Tri-Valley Writers Scholarship

The Tri-Valley Writers (TVW) is the regional branch of the California Writers Club, a non-profit professional organization with 22 branches across California. Founded in 1909, the California Writers Club is one of the oldest continuously operating writers’ clubs in the United States. TVW’s mission is to foster professionalism in writing, support writers of all levels, and promote networking within the literary community. They provide mentorship, workshops, and opportunities for critique, and they support writers across all genres, as well as related professions like editing, publishing, and literary agents.

The Tri-Valley Writers Scholarship is dedicated to Las Positas College students with a serious interest in writing and who are actively enrolled in writing coursework. This scholarship aims to provide these students with valuable resources, encouragement, and mentorship, helping them develop their craft and pursue their writing goals in a supportive and collaborative environment.
