Linda Lucas Memorial Library Scholarship

After working in elementary education, in 1975 Dr. Lucas became Dean of Instruction and Learning Resources and was part of the original staff establishing the Valley Campus, later to become Las Positas College. She supervised and supported the college’s performing arts program. Dr Lucas later became the Dean of Academic Services and helped design and implement the campus library, including the implementation of educational technology. After retirement, she went on to earn her law degree from John F. Kennedy University and began a second career.
