Ana Maron

Ana Maron, enrolled in Las Positas Community College in 1994 as a single mom with two small children. Las Positas College Financial Aid helped her apply to as many programs as possible during the two years she attended. Without the aide she received, there is no way she would have been able to pay rent, buy groceries, buy books, pay for tuition or pay for gas. After her two years at LPC, she moved on and transferred to California State Hayward and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication emphasis in Public Relations and Journalism. She vowed that if one day she could give back and pay it forward she would return to Las Positas and help another struggling single parent. Today she is fulfilling her dream in hopes that another single parent can fulfill his/hers!
